A.	Most MRP packages try to address the whole manufacturing spectrum, and invariably become specialised in one market, be it supply-chain or process.  The requirements of the make / repair-to-order manufacturer are usually disregarded as the software house concentrates on EDI/supply-chain and multi-national requirements.

4PM was written specifically for Project or Contract Oriented Manufacturing, and is equipped with all of the functionality required.  It includes an integrated Contract Costing module, enables flexible procurement of 'one-off' items, but includes all of the disciplines surrounding MRP II principles.
